The Etxepare Basque Institute has begun the process to select six lecturers who will teach Basque and Basque culture at seven European universities: Université Sorbonne Nouvelle de Paris (France), Université de Pau et des Pays de l’ Adour (Baiona and Pau, France), University of Breno (Czech Republic), University Adam Mickiewicz in Poznan (Poland), University Eötvös Lorand in Budapest (Hungary), University of Szeged (Hungary) and the University of Constance (Germany).
Donostia-San Sebastian. The Etxepare Basque Institute has set the deadline of May 5th for applications for persons wishing to teach Basque language and Basque culture at the aforementioned universities. Individuals chosen would teach during the 2018-2019 term. In the case of Hungary, the same person would be in charge of classes at both universities: Eötvös Lorand and the University of Szeged, according to a note from the Etxepare Institute.
Deadline to apply is May 5th (inclusive) and these can be presented in the places, according to the procedures included in the law, including at the Etxepare Institute, at its Zuzenean offices at the Basque Government, Delegations of Euskadi or also via regular mail.
Candidates must possess a university degree as well as EGA. For the University Adam Mickiewicz they should also have at least the C2 level of Basque and French universities require the B2 level of French.
