Neuquén, Argentina. The “Festival of the Confluence,” is organized in the region of the Confluence in the Patagonian province of Neuquen with top-rate performances by local and national figures, as well as the participation of mini-entrepreneurs, institutions and collectives that offer projects such as food and drink, clothing and crafts. The festival that celebrated its 7th edition in 2019, takes place in the middle of summer on the Paseo de la Costa.
Invited by the city, the Euskal Etxea also participated for the first time this year with a stand that provided institutional information, information about Euskal Herria, and Basque crafts, “that aroused great interest in the audience for our culture and traditions,” club sources said.
The next activity for the Comahue Basque Club will be in the city of Centenario, in the province of Neuquen, where they will participate in the Carnival festivities on February 23-24th.
