The latest publications e-newsletter announced these new titles: Macbeth in Basque and Contemporary Basque Literature.
Reno, NV. The Center for Basque Studies Press, at the University of Nevada, Reno has evolved from publishing one book series, the Occasional Papers Series, with one title a year, to now boasting ten series and between 10 and 12 books annually. The Center’s Press relies on Publications Editor, Daniel Montero, to coordinate each title from start to finish. Once in hand, the Center enjoys the help of student-workers who then fulfill orders, maintain the inventory, and assist wherever else necessary. This initiative is made possible by the generous support of the Basque Government, Bizkaia’s Provincial Government, as well as funding from private donors.
The latest fruits of this endeavor are Macbeth in Basque translated by Bingen Ametzaga, and Contemporary Basque Literature by Jon Kortazar. The books are part of the Occasional Papers Series and the Literature Series respectively. For complete information on these books, or to purchase a copy, click here.
