Valencia, Venezuela. The Carabobo Basque club celebrated San Fermin once again, one of the most important club events of the year, in Valencia. The event began at 10am with a welcome for members and friends of the club, including visitors who came from the Eusko Etxea in Caracas.
The visit combined work and pleasure, as besides participating in the festivities, members of the visiting club’s board met with the local board to talk about a series of joint projects that both clubs are working on.
At 1:30pm the traditional Txupinazo took place. The day’s program included a wood chopping exhibition and dance, but without a doubt, the stars of the day were again the calves and the brave people who jumped into the ring. The participant turn and twist with capes, but always with care so they don’t touch or harm the animals.
