Buenos Aires, Argentina. The Cultural Association, Denak-Bat, as part of its “Camerata Denak-Bat” Project invites everyone to the debut, outside of Euskadi of “Concierto Sacro,” for guitar and strings by Francisco de Madina, known for, among his other works, for his extraordinary “Aita Gurea.” As Xabier Iñaki de Arza Blanco explained to EuskalKultura.com, club reference and director of the Camerata, “Maestro Pedro Palacin Iriondo, originally from Eibar, recuperated and orchestrated this magnificent work, after much research, that he will conduct himself as a guest director.
The concert will also include “Argentine guitarist Juan Pablo Bettinotti, who will solo and will also perform works by Argentine composer, Juan Carlos Zorzi, and Bela Bartok.
Keeping in mind the value of the work and the research done by Palacin Iriondo, before the concert the Basque musician will give a short talk about the life and work of the priest and composer, as well as on the process carried out to recuperate several of his unpublished works.
The event i son Saturday, December 8th at 7:30pm; at 9pm in the Pedro de Basaldua Hall at the Centro Laurak Bat, Belgrano 1144. It is a free event and is open to the public. From Denak-Bat they stress that the concert has been made possible thanks to collaboration between the club and the association whose “Camerata Denak-Bat Project” has been declared of Cultural Interest by the Minister of Culture of the city of Buenos Aires.
