Donostia-San Sebastian.  The Official Bulletin of the Basque Country has published the call for grants from the Etxepare Basque Institute for the diffusion of visual arts, music and performing arts in 2013 outside of the Basque-speaking territory.  These grants are eligible for tours and artistic activities realized outside of the Autonomous Basque Community during 2013 and are designed to defer the cost of travel, set up and per diem, among others.

This year’s budget totals 372,000 Euros that will be split among different categories in the following way:

a) For visual arts: 55,000 Euros
b) Musical tours: 145,000 Euros
c) Performing arts: 172,000 Euros (for theater: 142,000 Euros and for dance: 30,000 Euros).

Application Deadline

Applications in all categories may be submitted on the day following the publication of the Official Bulletin of the Basque Country, including the present Resolution.  The deadlines for each category are the following:

a) For visual arts and music tours, the deadline to apply is July 15
b) For theater the deadline to apply is one month from the publication of the resolution in the Official Bulletin of the Basque Country.

For dance, the deadline to apply is September 6.
