San Francisco, California, USA. The measures put in force by the pandemic provoked the cancellation of the BEO’s Basque Film Series in San Francisco among others. There is now a certain progressive recuperation of activities and the BEO (Basque Educational Organization), the series organizers has announced for this Friday, October 9th, the beginning of its in person film events with the first session, adopting the pertinent measures in relation to capacity, distance and use of masks, in addition to mandatory reservations.
This Friday’s film is “Errementari: The Blacksmith and the Devil,” by Paul Urkijo. It will begin at 7:30pm as usual at the Gure Euskal Etxea - Basque Cultural Center facilities. Reservations can be made here or by calling +1 415 235 4651. The event will conclude at 10pm
The BEO included this reminder "This is our first film since the restrictions imposed by COVID-19 were lifted. We will have a very limited number of seats and therefore reservations will be mandatory. Also masks will be mandatory at all times. Food and drink will not be served or allowed so that masks will be kept on. Thank you for your understanding."
