Vitoria-Gasteiz. The Basque Government’s council gave the green light this morning to the 2018 call for Basque club, federation, and confederation grants. This year’s budget totals 902,306 Euros. The majority of this aid, 782,306 Euros is aimed at supporting annual programs and specific activities that are carried out by the Euskal Etxea, preferably involving youth, women, external image and communication, and the recovery of the Historic Memory, as well as operating expenses.
The remaining 120,000 Euros is aimed at infrastructure and will go to financing, in all or in part, expenses incurred by improving existing clubhouses and locales, including damage produced by catastrophes, removal of architectural berries, new construction; adapting spaces for youth, or the introduction of technology for the development of youth activities and those involving women, among others.
The call approved today is open to 191 Basque clubs and federations distributed in 25 countries around the world.
The deadline to apply will begin the day after its publication in the Official Bulletin of the Basque Country BOPV-EHAA) that is anticipated in the coming days, and will end a month from that date.
