The Basque Government, through its Governing Council held on Tuesday, October 31st as approved the publication in the Official Bulletin of the Basque Country (EHAA) the call for four scholarships specialized in the area of Basque clubs and communities.  Two of them are based in Vitoria-Gasteiz, at the Secretary General of Foreign Action, and the other two are at the Delegations of Euskadi in Argentina the US respectively. 

Vitoria-Gasteiz.   The Governing Council approved the call for four scholarships specialized in the area of Basque Communities and Centers abroad at its meeting held on October 31st.  All four scholarships are for a period of twelve months.  The awardees would carry out their activity in the following unites of the administration of the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country:

• Two at the Secretary General of Foreign Action in Vitoria-Gasteiz
• One at the Delegation of Euskadi in Argentina-Mercosur
• One at the Delegation of Euskadi in the US

The total budget for the four is 80,000 Euros that will be divided in the following way: 16,000 euros for each of the recipients who would work in Vitoria-Gasteiz.  For the two designated to the Delegations in Argentina-Mercosur and the US, 24,000 Euros each.

The call will be published in the coming days in the Official Bulletin of the Basque Country (EHAA-BOPV) and a day later will begin the application period.  We will be sure and publish these dates in EuskalKultura.com as well.  Anyone interested will need to meet the requirements, and consult and perform the corresponding selection procedures either face-to-face, or by electronic means.
