The Basque Government has given the green light at a meeting of its Governing Council this Tuesday to announce 8 scholarships specialized in Foreign Action, for its headquarters in Vitoria-Gasteiz (4), Brussels (2), Santiago (1), and Bogota (1). After this, all that is left is publishing the call in the Official Bulletin for the month-long application period to begin the next day. These scholarships are for 12 months and are aimed at youth with degrees seeking experience in this area.
Vitoria-Gasteiz. The Governing Council has given the green light at its meeting on Tuesday to open the call for scholarships for the specialization of professionals in the area of Foreign Action for 2018-2019, that include a total budget of 160,000 Euros. After this step, all that is left is that it be published in the coming days in the Official Bulletin of the Basque Country so that the application period can open the day after. This application period runs for a month. In all eight scholarships are available aimed at specializing professionals in the areas related to Foreign Action, and European Affairs. The scholarships run for 12 months and those awarded will carry out their activities at the following headquarters of the Administration of the Autonomous Basque Community:
- Four at the Secretary General of Foreign Action in Vitoria-Gasteiz. Each scholarship is 16,000 Euros
- Two at the Delegation of Euskadi at the European Union in Brussels. Each of these is 24,000 Euros
- Two at the Delegation of Euskadi in Chile, Peru and Colombia: one will be headquartered in Santiago, Chile, and the other at the delegation’s office in Bogota (Colombia). These are each worth 24,000 Euros
