Viña del Mar, Chile. The Euzko Etxea in Viña del Mar-Valparaiso was very satisfied with the reception of the Basque Film Series after the screening of Amama last Friday. The series is part of the International Film Festival in Viña del Mar, and a prelude to the same, and may be here to stay as the institutions who collaborated in the event have shown interest in continuing the initiative.

After the screening of Amama (2015) by Asier Altuna, this Friday Oreina (2018), by Koldo Almandoz will be shown. The series will conclude next week's Friday with Dantza (2019), directed by Telmo Esnal. All screenings will take place at the Museum of Decorative Art at the Palacio Rioja in Viña del Mar.
This initiative is the result of collaboration between the Viña Film Festival the Etxepare Basque Institute, The Basque Government, through its Delegation in Chile, and the Euzko Etxea in Viña-Valparaíso.
