Lujan Argentina. In hopes of “spreading the Basque culture in all its facets: ancestral language, traditions, everyday life, dance, music, sports, inter-family relationships, religion, mythology, work, political-syndicate organization, emigration and Diaspora” and “to reach this knowledge through the dissemination of Basque filmography” the National University in Lujan has organized its first “Cycle of Cultural Appreciation: Basque Film and Culture.” The event began on August 27th with a presentation on film production in the Basque Country and will conclude on November 19th, after having shown six films that proposed in the program.
Regarding the place where functions will happen, the event changed the venues to not only include University sites, the central site in Lujan and the Federal Capital, but also to include the Escuela Normal Florentino Ameghino in Lujan and the Eusko Aterpea Basque club in General Rodriguez, that will allow direct participation of the community in the activity.
