Chacabuco, Argentina. The Guillermo Larregui Basque Club in Chacabuco, in the province of Buenos Aires will be the site today of an unusual activity for the club. The club happily accepted the invitation to be the venue for official acts to swear in local authorities who will assume their positions after the elections that took place all over the country on October 27th.
Today, Monday December 9th at noon, the Euskal Etxea will serve as the stage for new authorities with Legistaltive Power to assume their positions in the Honorable Deliberative Council. Being sworn in will be Laura Marchesse, Lisandro Herrera, Patricia Colaccilli, Agustín Zarkovich and Nancy Tejo from “Together for Change;” and Marcos Peralta, Sofía Silva, Javier Estévez and Romina Barbetta, from “In Front of All.”
The second part of the official act will begin at 9pm, the moment when Dr. Victor Aiola will assume his second term as mayor from the Chacabuco Party, after being reelected in the latest election.
