The Basque-Argentine Business Chamber, thanks to Gertuko, a Basque consulting firm specializing in commercial and collaborative networks between Latin America and the Basque Country, invites everyone to participate in this international initiative that hopes to develop manufacturing in Latin America.  A Business mission of Latin American Businesses will visit the Basque Country may 29-June 7 and a Mission of Basque Businesses will travel to Latin America July 2-6^th.

Buenos Aires, Argentina.   The Basque-Argentine Business Chamber (CEVA) reported this venture that aims to bring in technological renovation and automation of processes for Latin American companies.  The project grew out of an assessment carried out in the region by Gertuko, which determined that a technology gap is one of the limiting factors for the competitive growth of Latin American companies. 

The initiative is aimed at Latin American companies interested in the improvement of production processes, and companies in the Basque Country who create “machine tools,” manufacturers, companies specializing in automation of processes and components.

Latin American Companies are invited to participate in the following activities:

1.- Technological mission to the Basque Country, May 29-June 7 in this context:

-Visit to the 30^th Biennale of Spanish Machine Tools (BIEMH) in Bilbao, Basque Country
-Visit Basque Companies
-Presentation of Latin American Companies to Basque Companies
-Bilateral meetings

2.- Monitoring and accompanying of projects generated between the Basque Country and Latin American Companies.

-Help finding co-financing
-Help finding industrial partners
-Support in conversations and negotiations

3.- Participation in the technical conference and Business Roundtable with companies in the Basque Country and their country of origin.

4.- Admission to informative talks by Latin American Centers of Education in their country of origin July 2-6ulio.

Proposals for Basque Companies include:

-Country profile by Latin American Market
-Participation in the Basque Country in a conference on opportunities in Latin America
- Bilateral meetings
-Follow-up and accompaniment of projects generated between the Basque Country and Latin American Companies
-Continuing support for talks and negotiations
-Participation in Technical Conference and Business Roundtable with companies in different countries of Latin America.
