Neuquén, Argentina. Invited by the Secretary of Culture for the Province of Neuquen, the “Baskos de la Confluencia” Basque Club that gathers work groups from Neuquen in the province from the same name, and Cipolleti, province of Rio Negro will represent the Basque Country at the Festival of Collectivities in Neuquen 2018. The event runs November 9-11 at the Duam Space where the club will have two stands. One stand will provide typical Basque dishes and the other will provide more information about the culture including videos, costumes, music and other typical cultural elements.
As part of the warmup activities, the club also attended the festival’s presentation last Tuesday. Members of the club informed those attending that there would be Basque food, and pintxos that even "come recommended by the Provincial Governor, Omar Gutierrez, that enjoyed them.”
The Festival of Collectivities will take place all three days beginning at 6pm; admission is 130 pesos.
