The second, is from an established Basque restaurant in the Argentine capital who would like to hire a cook and kitchen assistant, paying particular attention to the experience in relation to the world of fish and seafood. Barcelona / Buenos Aires. In regards to the Catalan capital, the Barcelona Euskal Etxea is looking for a Basque Chef for 2016-2017. They are looking for someone who, along with the current team at the Txoko, will provide a welcoming experience to those who come to their clubhouse. The following criteria will be considered:
- Previous experience in bars and restaurants
- Open attitude and be ready to work
- Knowledge of Euskera
- Work experience or collaboration with cultural entities
- Knowledge and familiarity of the Basque culture
- Able to work in a team
- Ability to deal with various situations
The job runs from Monday-Saturday. The schedule will be agreed upon once the team is complete, but will mainly be in the afternoons. Interested persons should email the club: barcelona@euskaletxeak.org.
Cook and Kitchen Assistant in Buenos Aires
In the case of Buenos Aires, the job offer is for a cook and kitchen assistant at a very well-known restaurant that provides traditional Basque cuisine in the neighborhood of Montserrat. This requires, in both instances, an active responsible person with experience in cooking fish and seafood.
The job runs Monday-Friday noon and night and Saturday nights.
