The festivities in Bayonne have exploded in the Basque Country and in Atlanta, the Basques and local fans didn’t want to be left behind. Not long ago they established a Basque club and this time they decided to join in the events at Cooks & Soldiers, a local Basque restaurant that will celebrate the festivities in Bayonne this Sunday. Atlanta, GA. Little by little the Atlantako Euskal Etxea or the Atlanta Basque Club is taking steps in the area to gather the largest number of Basque possible, as well as friends of Basques living in Georgia.
This time, members of the Basque club have joined in the events at Cooks & Soldiers to celebrate the fiestas in Bayonne. The restaurant in named to allude to the characters of the Tamborrada in Donostia, and offers Basque food that has been opened for about two years in Atlanta.
If you would like to join them on Sunday, mention the name of the Basque Club and you will get a free drink.
Organizers of the event request that everyone attending dress in red and white. The event will begin at 2pm and will run until 9pm.
