Corpus Christi, Argentina. The Corpus Christi Eusko Etxea Basque association is a pretty young Basque club in Argentina, but they are well known for their hard work, related noy just to Basque people and culture but to their social work with the native communities in the province. They are also known for their interest in promoting Basque and Argentinean culture and organizing an “Amazing Stories” contest that originated at the heart of the club and which was declared as Municipal Interest in 2012.
In view of these achievements and with great joy, the club presented a new anthology of Amazing Stories in January. The work gathers winning and distinguished stories from contests that were held in 2012 and 2013 and will become the club’s second publication. 46 Stories that Amaze, was presented on January 11th in the Reading Room of the Library to a large crowd who also enjoyed an artisanal exhibit that is part of the workshops that were also put on by the club.

At the end of the event, those in attendance shared a dinner and a brief comic theater where Aida Gimenez, accompanied by other club members, performed a story in verse, La loca de amor, adding a special comic touch to the evening. Members of the library also announced that they would soon be opening the call for the 6th Contest of “Amazing Stories.”

On the other hand, the club has also announced in its newsletter, Berripapera, that it would be holding its General Assembly in March. The date will be announced once the legal team is in accordance.
