San Miguel, Argentina. “Book Night” in San Miguel, in the province of Buenos Aires, is a two-day event held outside that takes place at the beginning of December at the Corredor Aerobico in Bella Vista in front of the old station. There local cultural institutions provide music and dance performances, talks and present books. All is very well-received by the public. At this 2018 event held December 7-8, and as prior editions, the Askatarunaren Bidea Association participated in the event along with the Sarmiento Library in San Miguel.
“The event was very well attended, and many were interested in our activities and in various aspects of the life and culture of the Basque people,” Horacio Marotto Etxezahar told EuskalKultura.com.
The association also announced that its Basque students and those of the Euskera and Culture Workshop participated in Euskaraldia as well as celebrated Euskera Day commemorating St Frances Xavier day.
