San Miguel, Argentina. Although it is only February, the middle of summer in the Southern Hemisphere, some Basque clubs are beginning to develop their annual activities. In the case of the Askatasunaren Bidea in San Miguel, in the province of Buenos Aires, enrollment has already begun for Basque classes for the new school year. The institution will provide beginning Basque on Mondays 15:30 - 18:30 and advanced will meet on Fridays also 15:30 - 18:30.
Interested people, new students, or those who have already attended can register emailing to askatasunarenbidea@gmail.com or sending a private message on Facebook to Agrupación Vasco Argentina Askatasunaren Bidea. The message should include name, DNI, address, telephone, email, birthdate and occupation.
Classes will take place at the Sarmiento Library in San Miguel, where the Association holds its other activities including its Basque language and culture workshop, literary activity by Maria Ines Mogabururen, the Basque Film Series, and talks.
