Led by Lehendakari Urkullu, the Basque Government’s Advisory Board for Foreign Action met last Tuesday in Vitoria-Gasteiz to analyze the contributions received in view of the update of the Euskadi Basque Country 2020 Strategy. Remember that appointed for that purpose - as well as the Advisory Board of the Basque Communities Abroad - is Arantxa Anitua, President of Laurak Bat Basque Club in Buenos Aires and FEVA’s vice-president.
Vitoria-Gasteiz. Recently arrived from his trip to Quebec and Canada, Lehendakari Iñigo Urkullu presided over the meeting of the Foreign Action Advisory Board to analyze the contributions made by social and institutional agents as part of the process opened by the Basque Government in order to update the internationalization strategy Euskadi Basque Country 2020.

As everyone knows, the Foreign Actions’ Advisory Board was established in July of last year as an open forum to support the debate and advice in regards to the internationalization of Euskadi.
This body in comprised mainly by Basque agents of different profiles with extensive knowledge in the international realm, including social, academic, cultural, technological or business.
Among its members are Basque-Argentine Arantxa Anitua, President of the Laurak Bat Basque Club in Buenos Aires and FEVA’s Vice-President. Anitua attended the meeting before returning to Argentina where she participated in the Semana Nacional Vasca 2017 events in San Nicolas. She is also a member of the Advisory Board for Basque Collectivities abroad which will meet in December in Vitoria-Gasteiz.
