Vitoria-Gasteiz. The Official Bulletin of the Basque Country (BOPV-EHAA) published the results of the 2020 grant awards to Basque clubs to attend to individuals belonging to Basque communities in situations of extreme need today. The Resolution signed by the Director of the Basque Community Abroad, Gorka Alvarez Aranburu, dated November 23 and according to Aranburu himself, served 112 families in seven countries, 82.14% of which are headed by women.
Grants will distributed in the following way: Argentina (15), Colombia (1), Cuba (63), Mexico (1), Chile (17), Uruguay (1), and Venezuela (14).
With a total budget of 202,000 Euros the amounts awarded are the following: Argentina (33,254, 26 Euros), Colombia (489.46), Cuba (47,618, 88), Mexico (2,423, 62), Chile (33,446.30), Uruguay (7,657.20) and Venezuela (61,096.49).
