Rio Cuarto, Argentina. The trinqueta at the Central Athletic Club of Argentina, in Rio Cuarto, was the site on February 4th and 5th of a pilota competition between the Basque clubs in Chascomus, Zingirako Euskaldunak, and the Gure Ametza Basque club. The event was in honor of Imanol Bilbao, member and founder of Gure Ametza who died in 2011. The event that was supported by FEVA (Federation of Basque Entities in Argentina) was a handball competition that created a great atmosphere of fellowship.
Players from Zingirako Euskaldunak included: Tomás y Martín Menchacabaso, Estanislao Alfonsín, Santiago Martinez Dauro and Lorenzo Vázquez accompanied by their instructor Sebastian Errecart. Representing Gure Ametza was: Manuel Campoamor Ascacibar, Pablo Cufré, Gastón Irazoqui, Jorge Lazcano, Darío Berasategui and Gustavo Echandía.
