Trujillo, Peru. As part of its cultural dissemination and legacy of ancestors from Trujillo, Peru and other places and countries in their surrounding cities and town, the Trujilloko Euskal Etxea has organized an online gathering this Sunday, September 19th, for anyone whose last name is Goicoechea/Goikoetxea and its variants.
The meeting will take place on Zoom, free of charge, "with cultural and informative objectives that aim to better publicize and provide greater knowledge and insight into the origin, arrival in America and the geographical and human development that people with this Basque surname have enjoyed in our countries."
Entitled, “Goicoechea and its Presence in the Diaspora,” the event will be this Sunday, September 19th at 10am (Peru), noon in Argentina and 5pm in the Basque Country. They are anticipating the participation of many Goicoecheas from all over.
