The group from Lapurdi, Patxi eta Konpainia, led by Patxi Perez, toured Argentina for more than a month. The tour included workshops on dance and music and a special stop in Necochea to play at the dances at Semana Vasca. They are very happy with the tour, and now back in Euskal Herria, the musicians send a thank you message to all of their friends in Argentina. Here is a photo review of the trip.
Buenos Aires, Argentina. After their first tour in 2015, Patxi Perez proposed another goal: coming back to Argentina along with his musicians to do a larger tour, and if possible, to participate in Semana Vasca, in 2016, the dream became a reality and Patxi along with Patrick Tetevuide, Jimmy Arrabit, Panpi Gerard and Mikel Perez not only taught workshops but also entertain with their special interactive touch at the Friday and Saturday night dances at Semana Nacional in Necochea.
The tour began on October 14 with classes taught at the Eusko Kultur Etxea and concluded on November 21 with the group bidding farewell to their Argentine fans at the Iparraldeko Euskal Etxea in Buenos Aires. Patxi returned to the Basque winter after the conclusion of Semana Vasca, while his musicians stayed for two more weeks. The entire Konpainia sends a greeting/thank you to everyone who shared these good times with them during their stay.
