Parana, Argentina. The Urrundik Association in Parana is celebrating its 19th anniversary with lunch for members and friends. The celebration also coincided with the 29th anniversary of the “Presencia Vasca” radio program, directed by the tireless Federico Borras. “Presencia Vasca” airs every Sunday from 11am-noon on FM University 105.7 and can also be heard online on its website www.fmuniversidad.com.
The anniversary lunch will be at the event hall at the Hotel Circulo beginning at 12:30pm. During the event there will be raffles, and music and dance performances. Reservations may be made by emailing urrundik@gigared.com. Tickets are limited.
With this invitation, the club also announced that on March 23rd, the Euskal Etxea was the site and organizer of a U-20 Chess Tournament. The contest gathered 15 youth with all participants receiving a prize. The Chess Workshop at the Euskal Etxea takes place on Saturday at the clubhouse. Tournament photos available here.
