Boise, Idaho. NABO has opened the application period for this year’s Udaleku, its summer camp for children in the Basque community. This year camp is being hosted by Euzkaldunak of Boise and will take place from July 17-25. Anyone wishing to attend should complete the on-line application as soon as possible with final tuition payment due by May 1st. The number of spots available is 105 and any applications received after this number has been reached will be put on a waiting list.
The cost of camp this year is $350, and includes a non-refundable deposit of $50 at the time of application. Participants need to be at least 10 years old before camp starts. For more information on the application or on-line payments, refer to NABO’s website.
For families that may find it difficult to pay camp tuition, NABO also provides the Aita Martxel Tillous: NABO Youth Aid Fund, in memory of the Basque chaplain who missioned to the US Basque community for many years. Interested parties need to apply for this aid by April 1st. To apply, complete the following application and all responses will be given by April 20th.
