Tandil, Argentina. The donation took place at a simple event with few people attending following the COVID19 protocol. On the occasion, some of the board of directors went to Our Lady of Begoña to present the symbolic gift to Fr. Guillermo di Pasquale (Willy). The priest blessed the tree and promised to plant it on church grounds after next winter. This is the first sapling delivered within the framework of a project to distribute saplings to Basques and Basque descendants in the city, the club told EuskalKultura.eus.
In its anniversary program contents uploaded to social media is the protagonist, including a greeting from president Cecilia Lejarreta, and an Aurresku performed at the Cerro Centinela by dantzari Sara Urbieta, and txistulari Unai Hernandez; also dances performed by the clubs dance group at different places in the city.

Each of the club’s activities also included their greetings from the pilotaris, the Gure Abestiak Choir with its directed Martin Tumbarino; and Basque students and teachers, who recited Nire aitaren etxea by Gabriel Aresti.
All week long, and in the coming days the Basque club will continue its campaign providing its members funny cards that describe each one of them in camaraderie and good humor on social media.
