Mexico City, Mexico. With the New Year, the Basque Language and Culture Lecturer at UNAM (Autonomous University of Mexico) returns to offer new possibilities thanks to the support from the Etxepare Basque Institute and the university’s ENALLT (National School of Language, Linguistics and Translation). This semester Lecturer Haizea Gorroño Elizondo will teach Basque language on Tuesday and Thursday and provide the Basque culture workshop on Friday.
Basque classes will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the CEPE (Center of Instruction for Foreigners) at 16:30-18:00 for beginners and from 15:00-16:30 for third level students. The cost to enroll for the semester January 28-May 26, 2019 is $2.00 M.N; for graduates $1,795.00 M.N. and external $2,395.00 M.N.
Furthermore, the Basque culture workshop will take place on Friday at the ENALLT, from 11:00am-13:00. In this case, the cost to attend for the semester is $2.00 M.N. for graduates from $960 M.N.; and for external $1,280.00 M.N.
