The new structure and organization of the Basque Government is being clarified, little by little, in this new legislature. In regards to the Secretary General of Foreign Action, that includes the Directorate of the Basque Community Abroad, on which the policy in relation to Basque clubs depends, Lehendakari Urkullu has opted to continue with the incumbent, Marian Elorza from Zumarraga at its head.
Vitoria-Gasteiz. Lehendakari Iñigo Urkullu has decided to maintain Marian Elorza (Zumarraga 1967) as the Secretary General of Foreign Action.
Having clarified this point, in regards to appointment to the next level of the organization of Foreign Action, different sources point to a change in the Directorate of the Basque Community Abroad, specifically to the post currently held by Asier Vallejo Itsaso, but this has yet to be confirmed officially.
