Necochea, Argentina. Submerged in summer, the Basques in Necochea are taking advantage of the season to live and share their Basque traditions even with the tourists that come by thousands in January. The Basque club will participate in the Fair of Collectivities that will take place January 17-20 with a food stand over the four days and to close the festivities they will also celebrate the tamborrada that that same weekend will be celebrated in Donostia.
On San Sebastian day, January 20th, there will be mass at 8pm at the Church of Our Lady of Lourds in Villa Diaz Velez (Necochea beach) and in accordance with custom and the program that they provided EuskalKultura.com, the celebration will continue during the week:
-Thursday January 24, Cider House Night
-Friday January 25, Pintxo Eguna
-Saturday January 26, dance with elections, Tamborrada and Basque dancing at the club
