Salt Lake City, UT. The Summer Picnic of the Basque Club of Utah took place on June 23 and the club transmitted it live via its twitter Account, posting commentaries, videos and photos of the day. The event began at noon with mass, followed by a performance by the Utah’ko Triskalariak dancers, traditional food, kids’ games and in general, great atmosphere.
The performance by the Utah’ko Triskalariak served as a fund raiser for its trip to New York. During the day, there was a raffle to support the dancers that was won by Doug, Mary and Jon. Zorionak to them and good luck to the Triskalariak, we hope that you succeed and that you make it to the Big Apple.

Living Traditions
The Utah’ko Triskalariak also participated in this year’s Living Traditions Festival, an annual gathering of the different communities in the state that took place this year on May 17-19. Their performance was a great success as well as the traditional Basque-American food that the club sold at its booth.
According to club sources, this year Croquettes were added to the selection of pintxos prepared by club members under the direction of the Guerricabeitias.
