Buenos Aires, Argentina. There were true waves of immigrants that came to Argentina, especially in the last two centuries. They settled all over the country, and worked and raised their families. Many have never forgotten their homeland, and so to confront their “homesickness,” and nostalgia, they began to gather at events that over time became more organized ane eventually resulted in immigrant clubs. The years passed but he feeling that these gatherings provide is the same: maintain their customs, strengthen ties and remember the homeland, transmitting culture, values and feelings to the new generations. The community festivals are a demonstration of all of that. Continues is a photo gallery of festivals in Concordia, Pergamino, Tandil and Trenque Lauquen.
