Vitoria-Gasteiz. Presided by the Lehendakari, the Relations with Basque Collectivities Abroad Advisory Board met last Friday in Vitoria-Gasteiz at its first session since the 7th World Congress of Basque Collectivities Abroad celebrated last October in Bilbao. Among those present were the three representatives elected at the Congress, Arantxa Anitua from Argentina representing the Basque clubs in Central and South America; Unai Lauzirika from Germany representing Europe, Asia and Oceania; and Jean Flesher, from Salt Lake City, Utah as the North American representative.
In his opening remarks, the Lehendakari mentioned the new Basque Diaspora. Video of his speech in Basque and Spanish at the beginning of the session.
