Vitoria-Gasteiz. Next Monday, March 25th, is the deadline to apply to participate in Gaztemundu 2019 and enter the selection process. The program is for 15 youth belonging to Basque clubs between the ages of 18 and 35 for a two-week stay in the Basque Country September 23 to October 6. This year’s theme is Basque club or entity management and participates will also attend the VII World Congress of Basque collectivities.
Some of the requirements include:
-Be between the ages of 18-35 by January 1, 2019
-Reside outside of the Autonomous Basque Community of Euskadi
-Be a member, for at least 3 years, of a recognized Basque club
-Have not participated in a prior Gaztemundu program
Applicants need to include a project on the challenges they may face in their own Basque club in the future from the point of view of its management including a SWOT analysis matrix (weaknesses, threats, strengths, and opportunities), which include, where appropriate, proposals for improvement.
