Macachín, Argentina. The public health situation generated by COVID-19 is getting worse in Argentina, and although at times there has been some optimism regarding holding Semana Nacional November 15-22nd, and with the possibility that in the time until then, it will improve and normalize enough, looking at it responsibly now, everything seems to indicate that again this year’s celebration is in doubt.
When asked regarding the event sources at Euzko Alkartasuna Basque club said they are looking at the possibility of canceling Semana Nacional Vasca for a second year in a row.
Although the decision will be discussed at the FEVA meeting next Saturday, May 29th, the Basque club considers that due to the gravity of the pandemic situation, it is unlikely that activities will be able to resume in enough time for Basque clubs to make plans, prepare and raise funds to attend.
