Basque literature will be in Barcelona starting on Thursday thanks to the Literaldia festival organized annually by the local Basque club. Events will begin with a trikifesta through the streets of Born, and will run through May 9, with a selection of the newest production in Basque literature. Throughout the month Bernardo Atxaga , with Manuel Rivas from Galicia, Fermin Muguruza with his comic “Black is Beltza,” the group Gose (who put Sarrionandia’s texts to music) will pass through Barcelona along with thousands of opportunities to greet the spring with Basque verses and stories.
