Korrika 19 was greeted by a large crowd in Bilbao after traveling thousands of kilometers in Euskal Herria and the Diaspora

This Sunday, Korrika 19 arrived at its goal in Bilbao, where it was greeted by thousands of euskatzales from all over the Basque Country.  This year’s event is the largest according to organizers at AEK.  Also in the Diaspora, Korrika broke records and surpassed borders, arriving to more countries than ever.  This weekend event continued in places like Mexico City, Valparaiso, Valencia, Montreal and Marseille, among others.  Following videos and photos. 

Donostia-San Sebastian.   Korrika 19 wasn’t only run in Euskal Herria, but it also arrived to many points around the world thanks to the Basque Diaspora.  In Montreal, for example, members of the Euskaldunak Quebec Basque club ran in the snow to support the Basque language, on March 21.  One of its members, Antton Curutchet sent us this video.
