Just as in other corners of the Diaspora, Korrika started in Argentina even before the race started in the Basque Country in Urepel, and finished just after the original version of the race in favor of Euskera in Bilbao. Buenos Aires, Argentina. This year, more institutions than ever celebrated Korrika in Argentina. Among those celebrating this year, and adding themselves to the list led by Euskaltzaleak and Euzko Etxea in Necochea, the Euskal Echea Institute can be specially mentioned, as more than 1,0000 children attended their activities. Also the Villa Maria Basque club where the korrikalaris ran to the sounds of txistus from the clubhouse to the Plaza Centenario.
In La Plata, you can say that Korrika is already a classic celebration and so no surprise that it gathered such a large group at the Plaza Moreno, to run in favor of Euskera.
