Bogota Colombia. The Basque Government, in collaboration with the Euskal Etxea Luis Miguel de Zulategui in Medellin, held a tribute to the oldest club members of Antioquia on March 28. Twelve members were honored, men and women, who emotionally recalled their arrivals to Medellin and to Colombia during the event.
The event was attended by Julián Celaya, Director for Basque Citizens and Communities Abroad, as well as the Euskadi’s delegate for Colombia, Venezuela and Central America, Iñaki Martínez. Euskal Etxea directors Ignacio Izaguirre, and Libe de Zulategui acted as the hosts and also provided lunch for the government representatives.
