Bordeaux, France. The Bordaleko Euskal Etxea and the University of Bordeaux Montaigne have joined forces to hire a Basque teacher for the 2018-2019 school year. Classes will take place Monday through Friday at noon, at night at the club house, in downtown Bordeaux, and during the day on the university campus, easily accessible from downtown.
The contract is for nine months, from mid-September through mid-June and includes a total of 620 hours of class. The net salary is 13,800 Euros.
The person who is chosen would be in charge of eight groups, with each receiving two hours of instruction a week, besides a group of remote students who are enrolled online through Boga. The groups levels vary between A1 and B1 (European grading).
An oral knowledge of French is required as well as teaching experience. Interested individuals would have to have the EGA as well as much motivation and commitment, especially in order to create a dynamic class at the Gau Eskola.
