The Euskal Etxea in Barcelona has published a job offer, in hopes of finding a person who will take charge of coordinating the club. This person would coordinate the various areas of the club (Euskera, culture, and the txoko). He/she would also be in charge of budget, external relations, communication and coordinating the board. Barcelona, Catalonia. The Barcelona Euskal Etxea is looking for a new coordinator that would be in charge of managing the active Basque cultural entity in the heart of the Barri Gotic. The job is immediately available and includes a 40 hour work week with a salary in accordance with the entity.
Responsibilities include: coordination of the various areas of the club (Euskera, culture, Txoko), as well as budget, external relations, communication and coordination of the board. In addition, the coordinator would also be in charge of the club’s active cultural program, in collaboration with the current team.
In addition to coordination, this person would also take care of programming, production and post-production of the events, series, and festivals organized by the club.
Requirements
-Experience in a similar job
-Appropriate degree (business, coordination, cultural…)
You will be evaluated on:
-Basque level (c1) or knowledge of Basque culture
-Catalan or knowledge of Catalan culture
-Knowledge of the entity and will be member of such
-Experience in cultural event organization
