Boise, Idaho. Just under a year left until Jaialdi 2020 in Boise. The mega Basque festival, held every five years, gathers tens of thousands of people with the poster just being unveiled created by Carew Co. that will illustrate the upcoming edition. It was also announced that the Saturday before Jaialdi 2020, on July 25th, Athletic will play a match in Boise, although their opponent is yet to be determined. Boise’s annual San Inazio festival concluded yesterday.

Boise’s annual San Inazio Festival takes place every July or early August and becomes Jaialdi every five years, as it will in 2020. This is one of the most anticipated festivals in the city and possibly the largest Basque festival celebrated outside of Euskal Herria. At its last edition in 2015, Athletic visited Boise just before the festivities in a match that raised everyone’s expectations, and will surely do so again in 2020 during their visit the Saturday before Jaialdi.
