Sabrina Otegui / Buenos Aires-Comodoro Rivadavia, Argentina. The local Basque club in the province of Chubut doesn’t have a Basque teacher, but it does have someone who is committed to be trained and become a teacher in the future. Even though Eneka recently began her training, Euskera and Basque culture have always been a part of her life, since birth, her name reveals her origins. As she tells us, her names, Eneka Izaskun, are a tribute to her great-grandparents from Navarre.
An active club member, Eneka has never visited the Basque Country; but her dream is to do so one day and find her family in Euskal Herria, as she has done at the Basque club. What is it like to study Basque in Patagonia? She also tells us about that in her interview. Mila esker, Eneka!
