Buenos Aires, Argentina. It's 80 and it's one of the most relevant choirs, Basque or no, in Argentina as well as in the Basque Diaspora. When looking at its 2019 season, the Lagun Onak Choir invites singers from all backgrounds to join their prestigious association. In order to do so, auditions are required. Rehearsal and auditions are scheduled for Monday and Thursday from 8-10pm at the Laurak Bat Basque Club on Belgrano Avenue 1144
In this special year for the group, its first performances will be in April, specifically on the 13 and 14 along with the February 3rd Orchestra performing the music of Mozart. Other concerts have been confirmed at Basque events including a presentation at “Buenos Aires Celebrates,” dedicated to the Basque Country and the Feast of San Ignazio, to name a few.
