Río Tercero, Argentina. While the pandemic limits us in so many aspects, art allows us to cross those limits, think of unthinkable combinations and above all, make them come true. Like this version of the iconic Argentine rock song “Rezo por vos,” by Charly Garcia and Luis Alberto Spinetta, now with arrangements that include alboka and pandero. The song was first heard in the mid-80s but over four decades it has become a classic that has versions made by numerous artists.
This time, the CASA Music Project invited Gaspar Jaurena who, on the guitar, bass and drums, included the traditional alboka. To give the final touch, and support the alboka, Iraide Ansorena, from the Basque Country added the pandero.
Everyone’s participation was recorded respecting the #shelterinplace, from Rio Tercero, Cordoba, Argentina and the Basque Country.
