Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 2020, a hard year in many ways, but it's Christmas time and always is a good idea to give presents to family and friends and show them our appreciation. Useful mainly for Argentine, we collected here a selection of products made by Basque Argentine friends. In fact, nicer than to buy a present is to buy and collaborate at the same time with smaller entrepreneurs in the Basque community, many of which have recently started their businesses, fruit of the pandemic.

-Popular Basque Ceramics: from La Plata by Mariana Demicheli here is a great variety of ceramic utensils, especially for the kitchen. The Popular Basque Ceramics are available on “Vereda Sale” today at the La Plata Euskal Etxea at 6pm, or on Terruño Regalería.
-Zirimiri: besides its complete catalogue during the Zirimiri festivities by Estefanía 'Chicho' Abasolo who joined with Txapela to provide Basque gifts x 2: Handmade ceramic cups with motifs such as oak leaves or lauburus, plus the authentic Txapela cider made with an original recipe from Petritegi and apples from Patagonia.
-Txapela: the cider entrepreneurs also joined forces with the Christmas combo Cabañas Piedras Blancas. In this way, you can gift cider with a great variety of cheeses and oils.
-Sorginak Candles (sic): from Tandil, Valeria Aramburu presents candles made of soy wax, mineral bath salts and natural repellents. The client can create his/her own mix combining various kinds of products.
-Lauburu Publishers: offers its 2020 novelties, Pick up your Things, by Ander Zurimendi; Your Forgetfulness is Worse than Death, by the Nicaraguan Basque poet Ernesto Castillo Salaverry; and The end of Trips is always Somewhere, by the Argentine Basque Sergio Recarte, in addition to their catalogue with the works published in previous years. As a promotion, shipping is free for an order of four books or more.
-Eguzki-lore: a gastronomic business that doesn’t only provide menu items that can be given as gifts, but also facilitates family reunions. For Christmas or for New Years, and with ordering ahead of time provides rolls (by the dozen), or roasted bondiolas.
-Amurrio: Something that cannot be missing in Buenos Aires from the Christmas table at the time of the toast, is the traditional sweet bread with dried fruits and raisins, created by Ceci Cans and her Amurrio Pastry. And for chocolate lovers, you can purchase those two, both of them in two sizes. In addition, and for those who want to try new flavors, during these festivities they also offer Basque rice pudding and plum cake.
