Vitoria-Gasteiz. The Director of the Basque Government’s Directorate for the Basque Community Abroad, Gorka Alvarez Aranburu, published a video yesterday on social media to explain that latest on its program for individuals in dire need, as well as Gaztemundu, both published or approved by the Governing Council this week. Due to the Coronavirus, the deadline for grants for those in dire need won’t begin until the current state of alarm ends.
In regards to Gaztemundu, he clarified that even if the call was approved last Tuesday by the Governing Council, it has been decided to not publish it until the current situation passes and it becomes clear that the activity can take place with minimal guarantees and a certain normalcy. In the case that something changes, this will be communicated as soon as possible.
