General Roca, Argentina. After the successful recuperation of the festival in 2018, the city of General Roca, in the province of Rio Negro in Patagonia, organized the Festival of Communities again this year. The celebration will take place on November 2nd at the facilities and grounds of the Italian United Association with the same communities participating, the Italians, Basques, Israelis, Chileans, Spanish and Lebanese. In the case of the Basques thanks to the local Gure Etxea Basque Club.

Each community will have its own stand representing each language and culture as well as providing typical dishes. In addition, communities that have dance, singing or artistic groups among them will also include dance, song and performances. In the case of the Basques, the adult and txiki dance groups will participated directed by Professor Maite Aranzabal.
As part of the program, certificates will be presented to immigrants thar came to Argentina over 50 years ago. Last year, in the case of the Basques, a special posthumous certificate was presented to the descendants of Moncho Mendizabal, although this citizen and founder of the local Basque club had passed away the year before.
Proceeds from the event will go to the local Francisco Lopez Lima Hospital.
