Bilbao, Bizkaia. The 15 participants chosen to participate in Gaztemundu 2019 arrived in Bilbao last night who will also join in the 7th World Congress of Basque Collectivities next week. Since this year’s program coincides with a World Congress, the topic will be Basque club management. Session will run September 23-27, that will also include some outings to Navarre and Iparralde; the ArabarErrioxa-Rioja Alavesa and Zumaia and Donostia before joining in the program of the 7th World Congress of Basque Collectivities Abroad.
The aim of Gaztemundu 2019 is “to promote leadership in Basque communities to support their becoming self-sufficient.” The topics to be discusses include “Professionalize and lead Basque communities: Revitalize the Basque communities; making their activities more attractive; Open Basque centers to the outside world; Create synergy between the different clubs: Convert this activity in an action plan: Apply it in the coming four years and verify compliance to it.”
